Default EDC twist pen

I'm looking for a durable 1/2" thick twist pen.
I spend most work days pulling it in and out of my pocket a couple hundred times while helping customers, so no caps (space pen) allowed.
I have made a few with the lee valley kits, but they last maybe a year before the twist mech gives up, or the snap a tip off.
Does anyone have a good pen that is bulletproof?

I still can't get over how much I like my Kershaw leek that was recommended on the forum. It gets used about half as much as my pen but still gets a good workout every day.

Thank
Mark

What about the AG7 space pen? It's a clicky so it does not have a cap. Just a suggestion.

I recently got a Retro 51 Tornado Pen. I've only had it a few days so I can't say how it will hold up but it is a twist pen. It comes with a roller ball ink cartridge but it can be swapped out with a Shmidt Easy Flow refill to make it a ballpoint.

Don't know what your budget is but I like the Surefire pen as well. I've been wanting to order one but I can't bring myself to spend the cash on it since I haven't seen it in person. It's a heavy duty pen for sure.

I use a pen all day at work and of all the pens I have I really like my space pen mentioned above. I've had it for several years and I like it a lot. It had a defective ink cartridge when I bought it but once that was fixed it has been flawless.

nice but kinda skinny.

The surefire would be nice at $60-70 but if I can't see/handle $$$ for that one

Zebra makes several compact pens:

http://www.zebrapen.com/products/pen/expandz?c=29

http://www.zebrapen.com/products/pen/f-301-compact?c=30

The "compact" has a cap, so it's probably out. This is what I EDC. I like knowing the tip won't leak in my pocket if I forget to retract it.

All are around $5.
