To be honest, I am not a huge fan of Bellroy. I love their design work, but feel like they use inappropriate materials for long term usage. Their leather is too soft and too thin for a “buy it for life” wallet.

But yeah… they know how to design… and this folio is further proof of that.

The Saddleback leather ID Wallet. It’s not fancy, not at all innovative, but you know it will last forever just because of who made it. I have to admit though, I was a little surprised this one was so well known.

These things are rad. Essentially, it’s a flat-pack box. When you aren’t using it, it folds down into an impossibly small form factor. BUT, when you do need it it folds out into a rigid bottom box. You’ve seen similar contraptions in some sort of poly before, but I’ve never seen a soft sided version like this. Tons of uses…
