Hazard 4

I’m not really much of a tactical guy, but I like looking at all of the mil-spec packs and what not offered by small companies with ingenuity. One new company that I’ve seen mentioned a lot lately on the forums and blogs of the world is Hazard 4. I know nothing about them other than what I’ve read on their site, but I figured their popularity was worth mentioning here.

Check them out.

Teamwork Bags

This is a friend of a friend type of deal… The guys at Teamwork are trying to kickstart a new line of bags made with some killer materials discarded from different military avenues and the like. I desperately want one of the messenger bags. Details and a great video can be found here.

TAD FAST Pack Litespeed

A relatively new offering from the geniuses at TAD. It’s the FAST Pack Litespeed… Essentially, it’s designed to handle all of the requirements of the traditional Fast Pack, but it’s been narrowed and optimized so that the user has a full range of motion while wearing it. I’ve never owned a pack from TAD, but have always admired them. This one rules.

DSLR Protection

This is pretty brilliant. Most of us aren’t professional photographers carrying around a body and multiple lenses. In fact, I’d bet most of you folks simply cary a camera body with a lens attached. So, how do you protect that combo without carrying a separate camera bag? Easy, get a Roma Bag. Essentially, it’s just a camera bag that was designed to hold a body with lens attached and be small enough to fit into your regular every day bag. Pretty smart.

The William Wallet

The William Wallet is all the rage right now with internet hipsters. Basically, it’s two pieces of powder coated aluminum tied together with some poly cord. Typically, I would write off a wallet such as this… But it’s being offered by Wintercheck and I love lots of stuff they do. So, who knows?

Fluent Stash

It’s like origami for your gear. The “Fluent Stash” from Nau opens up to reveal a number of a different pockets and pouches for your gear and closes up to a small and compact size for carrying. Stylish to boot… $80.

The M-Clip

Here’s an interesting money clip alternative. It’s a super strong spring that’s acted through a pair of sliding levers that give you leverage when it’s time to access your cash. They are spendy though. Get yours at Nordstrom.

The Flipside

I’m more of a leather guy myself, but for those of you into the latest and greatest materials and concepts, the Flipside is all the rage at the moment. Essentially, it’s a plastic vault for your pocket.
