AER Dopp Kit 3

I’ve used AER pouches and more specifically, their dopp kit, for years… In fact, I used them for more than just my toiletries. The construction and organization is second to none really… Great stuff.

In any case, they just released a new version – the Dopp Kit 3. Looks as though it features a few more pockets within and a more sturdy loop…

Alpaka Vertex Pouch

A sling that also doubles as a massive tech pouch. Made by Alpaka, so I am sure it’s built like a brick shit house… Still, man it’s big to market as a tech pouch and as a sling, it’s limited because it’s so divided up. Might be great for specific use cases though…

AirTag Wallet

I lost my wallet this summer. It sucked… I eventually found it, but not after a week of searching and wishing I had an AirTag in my wallet to end my misery.

Apparently, this EKSTER cardholder is the best AirTag enabled example on the market. I’ll report back.

This is often lauded by bag geeks as the most durable, functional, and flexible messenger bag ever offered. It’s also priced at damned near $2000.

Yeti GoBox

So Yeti makes an innovative cooler that keeps shit cold forever… and they do it with this great marketing that creates a sort of “market cult” amongst outdoor people. They then parlay that success into a line of expensive mugs and bottles that do their job really well and introduces their brand to everyday people – even if they aren’t into the outdoors.

So, what’s next? Feels like Yeti has been trying to get into as many markets as they possibly can using materials and technology they know. Their latest aim appears to be the Overland guys. It fits…

This is the GoBox 15. Essentially, it’s a $125 plastic Ammo Box.

Atlas Backpack

I’ve used Atlas stuff for years. They make the best modern tool rolls on the market – no doubt. And now, they are introducing a tool-focused backpack. Looks pretty dope.

CPL24 in X-Pac

My favorite backpack is probably the GoRuck GR2. BUT, the Evergoods CPL24 has always been a close second. One of the things that has always kept it from the top spot is the 840D nylon used in its construction. It gathers dust, hair, and other crap like a magnet of sorts… and soon looks rougher than I’d like.

Today though… The CPL24 is launched in X-pac – my absolute favorite material for a pack.

Dango just released a new minimal version of their hard wallet. I’d like to give this one a shot…
