Here’s a multi-tool option for those of you that don’t dig on the bulk of a traditional Leatherman. Designed by Custom knife makers Ed Van Hoy & Tom Stokes, the CRKT Multi-tool does a lot of shit in a small package.

If Steve Jobs made a knife, this would be it. Many consider it the best EDC knife in the word… and dammit, I want one so that I can see for myself.
With all of the multi-tools on the market, it’s pretty incredible that not a one includes something for camera dorks. Gerber will be changing that in 2012 with the Steady. Essentially, the Gerber Steady is your basic multi-tool with one exception – two legs hinge out to form a mini tripod. Word on the street is that this little jewel will release in 2012 at a $65 price point. Let’s hope the rest of the package is just as well thought out as the use…
This is a relatively new release from Gerber that I just heard about today. It’s a mini auto for around $100. You can’t beat that with a stick… The blade is a hair under 3-inches and when closed the whole shit-and-kabang is under 4.
