I dig the Paul Smith Aesthetic… It’s like merging the fashion and automotive worlds, but doing it without really catering to the either or making a theme of it. These new pens are the perfect example of that.
MetMo makes all kinds of cool shit, but none more cool than this simple pen. One was gifted to me and it’s just so damned tactile that it is hard to put down.
Blackwing pencils are my favorite. I love the way they feel in my hand, I love the way they look, and you can’t help but love the way they write. Recently, Grovemade did a collaboration with Blackwing and now you can get a gorgeous little station for your pencils.
The Pokka Silver Bullet is probably the hottest EDC pen on the market right now… and for good reason. It’s cheap, it’s all weather capable, and it’s small enough to keep in your pocket.
The world famous Lamy has reissued what is often considered to be the best fountain pen ever mass-produced – the Lamy 2000. They are only selling 3.300 of them and the price follows the logic, but damn man… These things are gorgeous.
How about a trio $230 Bic Pens? No shit… Over two largish… for three Bic pens. No denying the beauty though. Pinel and Bic both have French roots, so it only makes sense that they are each done up in French colors…
Grovemade pretty much owns the desk accessory space these days. They do it with really well made crap at prices that match. It’s hard to talk value, but it’s easy to say this – Grovemade knows how to make stuff feel expensive and rarely do you feel like you got less than you paid for…
Anyway, they recently dropped these notepads and I love them.
