The few weeks after Christmas is always a great time to get a bangin’ deal on a refurbished MacBook. This year, the prices aren’t quite as aggressive as they have been in the past, but you are still getting $200 off the latest M1 powered laptop.
If you are in the Apple ecosystem, there is no reason to use anything other than Air Pods, but… if you aren’t? These PD noise canceling headphones are gorgeous. And, apparently, they sound great as well…
I’ve tried a bunch of these. None are perfect, but this one is pretty good. While the stand sucks, the display itself is pretty nice and it works well with Mac OS. Plus, USB-C… Who can argue with that?
I’ve made my love for vintage industrial design by Braun well known around these parts. But you know what? Their recent resurgence isn’t all that bad either… These smart speakers, for instance, are flat out RIGHT.
Pretty smart… Essentially, it’s just a collar with a weatherproof pod that protects an Apple AirTag – giving you the capability to track your pet via GPS.
So there’s the Sony RX-100… which is one of the best compact cameras on the market that features a 1″ sensor. And then there’s the new Xperia Pro-I – a phone that uses the same damned sensor and a pretty great Zeiss lens as well. Crazy.
I have no idea if Sony makes a decent phone or not… and I’m not much for the Android operating system, but holy hell is this cool.
Interesting concepts… Essentially, Floyd designed some speaker stands for Sonos. I actually like them quite a bit. Not a bad option for someone looking to add surround sound to a space that wasn’t built for it, but they don’t want the typical crap speaker companies make.
