HOTO Air Capsule

A four-in-one air tool of sorts… The Air Capsule vacuums, inflates, blows, and sucks allowing you to keep shit topped off, sealed, and clean. I don’t really know the use case for this, but the design is rad.

Eight Sleep

Eight Sleep is essentially a water cooled and heated mattress cover that allows you to massively regulate the temperature of your bed in two zones. On top of that, it’s a high-tech sleep analyzer. I want to test this thing bad.

Expensive, but how much time do you spend sleeping?

Tushy

Dry wiping your ass after a poop is gross. Think about it… After you do your business, do you just wipe your hands with a dry paper towel and call it good? Wouldn’t that just smear the shit around rather than clean it? Given that, why do we rely on dry toilet paper to handle the nether regions?

I always figured bidets to be a sort of funky hygiene quirk of the French, but… hey man, they aren’t wiping poop all over their ass cheeks, so who’s the quirky one now?

Anyway, I got a bidet. A friend told me about the Tushy… and I am NEVER going back.

These are coasters with a magnet on the back. Dope, right? It just happens that they look exactly like the high temperature tiles that protected the Space Shuttle on re-entry.

O’Neill Hybrid Shorts

When you live on an island, shorts are important. You gotta be able to get wet at a moments notice, but you also gotta be able to go out to lunch without looking like an idiot… all in the same pair of shorts.

I’m new to this… But, the best hybrid shorts I’ve found come from O’Neill. They dry fast, they look like normal shorts, and they are durable as hell. In fact, I remodeled a house wearing a single pair and they are still rocking.

iPad Solution

The Magic Keyboard from Apple is uber expensive, but also the best solution for making your iPad function more like a laptop. It does, however, have two shortfalls:

  1. It provides very little protection to your iPad.
  2. In order to return the iPad back to tablet mode, you have to ditch the keyboard all together – leaving your iPad entirely naked.

I’ve found an interesting solution. Pitaka makes a super slim carbon fiber case that allows your tablet to be covered while in or out of the magic keyboard. On top of that, it adds wireless charging by way of pretty strong magnets. And with that, you can use Pitaka’s iPad stand for desktop applications.

I haven’t tried these products yet, but I’m tempted…
